Among his other successes feature his ‘Blues Harp Concerto No 1' performed together with a symphony orchestra and hip programme 'Basilica' where he combines his uniquely expressive harmonica with the majestic church organ. Entry into the Guinness Book of Records: 'Under the roof of the congress hall on Lake Geneva precisely 539 participants - a notary counted them - somewhat bemused unpacked a little parcel and found a harmonica. This turned into the world's largest music lesson. The charismatic teacher was Roland van Straaten who with his brilliant entry - a tango - had managed to fascinate his visitors about this instrument.
