Assemble a bike
Imagine that you and your team are standing before an empty bike frame. The parts on the nearby table look familiar, but the tools don‘t. Will your team succeed in building a functioning bike under time pressure? To do so, the team will need to dig deep into their resources. In particular, the following behaviors will be needed: planning, teamwork, communication and experimentation.
Running order of the programme
The teams each receive an empty bike frame affixed to a bike stand. All necessary parts and specialist tools are nearby. Our instructors will introduce the event and make sure the tools are not misused, otherwise no help will be given. The goal is to make a functioning bike and then ride it, all within the given time. At the end of the day, teams will dismantle the bikes.
