Regatta Sailing on Lake Zurich
Procedure
Experienced skippers introduce you to the art of sailing and familiarise you with its terminology. Important safety features are also explained. On departure each team is handed a special map of the relevant part of the lake. The crews now decide which check points to call at and which ones are better to skip, taking into account time, weather conditions, wind and their own skills. Each yacht is staffed with a professional skipper. When the regatta is completed, the head skipper evaluates the results and hands them to the group.
Location
The marina from where the regatta sets off is located in Zurich Wollishofen / Enge, close to the town centre and is easily accessible by public transport.
Equipment
In order to be well-prepared, it is advisable to bring along a windbreaker, sun protection and shades. Best wear trainers and pack a warm jumper, just in case. This way nothing can stop an adventurous day on beautiful Lake Zurich.
This team-building activity is also available as a team event.
