Building a snow USO in a team
The highly original USO (Undefined Sliding Objects) may look like ships, floats, houses, cigars or many other things. This team-building activity sets no boundries to creativity! Teamwork is unavoidable; only as a team can the differing ideas be implemented successfully.
Programme
The task of the teams is to create an original and fast snow vehicle. Points are given for creativity, originality and speed of the USO. The steeper the slope, the more spectacular the race.
Materials
The following lightweight construction materials are available to the teams at this event:
- Cardboard
- Plastic sheets
- Wooden sticks
- Adhesive tape and string
- Colored adhesive tapes for writing
Safety
USO TEST: before the race can begin, all vehicles have to be safety approved by the head guide. As only soft and light materials are being used at this team-building event, the risk of injury is very limited.
Concluding the Day
After the race all guests toast with a cup of mulled wine to a successful and fun day.
Location of your choice
This teambuilding programme can be held at many locations of your choice in the mountains. Required is a steep slope off piste or a skiing slope with a moderate angle. We are happy to advise you.
Team evaluation and coaching
Engaging a professional coach to observe your team at work will ensure that they, and the company, get the most from the whole experience. He or she will be on hand throughout the day to analyse performance, highlight achievements, address problems and help the team to utilise the lessons learnt back in the working environment.
