The Sounds of the Mountains
Playing the Alphorn, the delicate arts of Talerschwingen (in which a coin is slowly spun around a porcelain bowl to produce a sound) and 'Geisslechlöpfe' (cracking the whip), the authentic Swiss accordion and 'Löffele' (playing the spoons) and flag swinging. Go on, have a go at it yourself!
Crossbow shooting - just like William Tell
Hit the apple in the centre of the target using a sturdy wooden crossbow. Alternatively try it with a more modern gadget called the ‘crossbow handgun’
'Trycheln' – or the sound of the cow bells
The rhythmic pealing of enormous cow bells could be said to be the sound of Switzerland – you may find it's not as easy as it looks.
Timber...!
Chopping trees just like in the olden days: try your skills at the two-man saw or flex your muscles chopping wood with an old-fashioned axe. The nailing competition is also a great laugh!
Wine tasting competition
Who recognises the quality wines? The participants try to allocate the wines to their country of origin.
Swiss folks dancing in traditional dress

Yodelling
Anybody can do it. Forget your inhibitions and we show you how it’s done. You’ll love it!
Distilling schnapps
Distil an aromatic schnapps from cider, beer or wine.

Not speed but precision are the required skills in this game.
Wheelbarrow race
Get the balance right and be the first through the finishing line. Great fun!
